el_class=&#8221;custom-description&#8221;]<\/p>\n<div>\n<h3>Beschrijving<\/h3>\n<p>Op maart 2010 lanceerde de stad Antwerpen het project van voetgangersbewegwijzering stad Antwerpen. Dit project bestaat uit 127 masten geplaatst worden, verspreid over de Antwerpse binnenstad.<\/p>\n<p>Alle masten hebben ongeveer dezelfde opbouw; een mast in gietaluminium met bovenaan een rode &#8220;wimpel&#8221; de wijk aanduidt waarin men zich bevindt. Wegwijzers in gietaluminium wijzen de juiste richting aan. De kleine oranje wegwijzers duiden de 9 verschillende wijken aan, en geven een indicatie van de wandelafstand, uitgedrukt in minuten. De grotere wegwijzers brengen de bezoeker naar de verschillende bestemmingen binnen iedere wijk.<\/p>\n<p>In totaal worden een 100-tal bestemmingen aangeduid: evenementenlocaties (theater, opera, concertgebouw, &#8230;), markten, openbare diensten, religieuze infrastructuren met monumentale waarde, toeristische uitrustingen (infopunten, parkings, toiletten), erfgoed, musea of vervoersvoorzieningen.<\/p>\n<p>Na de gunning van de opdracht, heeft Urbis gestart met een grondige analyse van het concept. In nauw overleg met de stad werd het ontwerp verder verfijnd tot een duurzaam, flexibel systeem.
